Jazz Festival

Zelenkovac Jazz Festival is held every year in the ecological zone Zelenkovac, located in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 15 km from Mrkonjić Grad and 60 km south of Banja Luka. During three days, in the end of July, the festival offers live jazz music, as well as workshops on different subjects such as culture, environmental protection or sustainable tourism.

Through this peaceful, multi-ethnic event in a pristine nature, access to jazz music is offered to everyone in a rural area where cultural happenings have to be developed and supported. Local and upcoming artists have the opportunity to play along with international renowned pairs (over the past years: Monty Waters (USA), Hanes Backman (Germany), Imre Kesegi (Hungary), Michael Blum (Belgrade/Tel-Aviv), Vlatko Stefanovski (FYROM), Troitsa (Belarus), Let’s Quit (Netherland), Jamaican Jukebox, Jazz Foundation (Netherland), W5 (France), among others).
